Larry Enterline
Pastor Larry Enterline is the president and co-creator of Calvary Curriculum, a website-based ministry, focused on equipping those who minister to children by teaching God’s Word to them. Calvary Curriculum provides training for children’s ministry leaders and teachers and offers Bible studies for children.
Early on, Pastor Larry ministered with his wife, Barbie, in youth homes and Sunday school. He then began overseeing a large children’s ministry in 1989, which consisted of 2,500 children per week and over 300 volunteers, which he continued doing for ten years. After that time, he oversaw a couple of smaller children’s ministries ranging between 120-600 children per week, which he did for 17 years.
He knows the unique challenges and blessings that come from this kind of ministry.
Pastor Larry has overseen large summer camps, children’s ministry conferences, and VBS park outreaches. In addition to pastoring children’s ministries, Larry has taught at Bible colleges, taught parenting classes, seminars, and conferences. Many of his teachings can be found in the Children’s Ministry Trainings and Words of Encouragement sections on this site. He is the co-creator of the ORIGINAL and REVISED Calvary Chapel Children’s Curriculum, and the writer and creator of the Original Little Ones Curriculum and Topical Bible Curriculums.
Out of the ministry of Calvary Curriculum, he oversees a yearly Children’s Ministry Conference for children’s ministry teachers, leaders, and pastors (www.cccm-conference.com).
Seeing children taught the Word of God and discipled in the Lord’s ways is one of Larry’s deepest joys, and he is thankful for the opportunity to help train those who are doing this great work with children around the world. Larry is dedicated to helping children not just know about God, but know God personally in an abiding and growing relationship. Larry and his loving wife, Barbie, have been married since 1975 and have been blessed with two sons, two daughters, a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, two granddaughters, and two grandsons. All of their children are involved with serving the Lord.
